In celebration of the first space walk from an American – Ed White – kids can make their own space helmets.
Materials:
- Grocery bags
- Crayons
- Markers
- Pencils
- Scissors
- Glue
- Construction paper
- Junk art
Directions:
- Each child receives a bag.
- Child cuts a window in the bag for his or her face.
- Decorate helmet with junk art and other materials.
